Welcome to our weekly Fee Free Football snippets where we highlight individual aspects of the Fee Free Football program. This week we delve into the Balga SC Academy, our advanced footballing pathway.
At Balga SC our philosophy has always been that all Junior players should enjoy the sport that they love without being limited by their financial situation or background. This is why we have introduced Fee Free Football and why we will not be holding any Junior trials. What we will be doing is providing all Juniors with an opportunity to play football within an organised team environment.
For talented youngsters we will be providing an NPL structured pathway via the Balga SC Academy.
This is our advanced footballing program. The Academy pathway will follow the NPL structure and will be run and administered by experienced and fully qualified coaching staff headed by Balga SC Technical Co-Directors Ljupco Bobby Taneski and Aleks Vrteski. Bobby is a highly experienced coach holding FFA ‘B’ Coaching License and Aleks is a former Australia Youth international player holding a FFA ‘C’ Coaching License.
The aim of the Balga SC Academy is to identify, nurture and develop young and talented players and provide them with the guidance, mentoring and further development avenues via the Balga SC State League teams.
