Balga SC is proud to announce A-League Women captain Isobel “Izzy” Dalton as our new Director of Women’s Football.
Izzy has played professionally around the world, from the WSL in England with Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Lewes FC, to Napoli in Serie A and the A-League Women. Now she’s bringing that experience to Princess Wallington Reserve to lead the growth of our girls’ and women’s football.
“What attracted me to Balga was the club’s strong community feel, diversity and genuine desire to grow the female side of football. I believed in the vision and see that this club has the ability to create something with real potential.”
Balga SC President, Ken Shorto said “we’re thrilled to welcome Isobel ‘Izzy’ Dalton to Balga SC as our first-ever Director of Women’s Football.
Izzy has played at some of the world’s most renowned football clubs. She brings an incredible wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for the game, and we’re excited to have someone of her calibre joining our club.
This appointment is a significant milestone for Balga SC and reflects our commitment to growing and strengthening women’s and girls’ football. Izzy will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our women’s program, supporting our players and creating opportunities for the next generation of female footballers.
We’re incredibly proud to have Izzy on board and look forward to what we can achieve together.”
