We headed of to Curtin University for our 4th round clash. After a few nervy moments in the opening couple of minutes Balga settled in to their playing style of passing & moving. This was rewarded with a goal in the 5th minute from a corner which was scored by Thiak Kuel.

In less than a minute Balga doubled their lead with Henri Mulwila slotting home. It was only a matter of 3 minutes later that Osman Mustafa bagged Balga’s 3rd. Then straight from Curtin’s kick off Cier Mayoum got in on the act to score our 4th. After 10 minutes it was Curtin Uni 0:4 Balga and this was the way it stayed until half time.

When the 2nd half got underway it was only 8 minutes old when Isaac Conteh scored our 5th. In the 57th minute Cier Mayoum got his brace extending the lead to 6 nil. In the 65th minute Balga made their first substitution with Ilunga Tshomba being replaced by Dut Mathiang, this was followed 5 minutes later with our 2nd substitution as Jean-Paul Terence was replaced in goal by Thomas McConnachy.

In the 80th minute Balga made their 3rd & final substitution with Henri Muliwila making way for Emmanuel Nshimiyimana. In the 84th minute Cier Mayoum completed his hat trick, making it 2 for the season. The final score ended Curtin Uni 0:8 Balga.
