Balga SC are continuing with further expansion and will be adding an Amateur League side to compliment the existing State League setup. In preparation for the upcoming season, the club has appointed Bill Byrne to the role of Team Manager and Coach for the first team and has tasked him with overseeing the overall Amateur squad development. The Club is further looking to recruit a young, ambitious and enthusiastic coach (or player coach) who will work with Bill on training nights and take responsibility for the Reserve Team on match days.
The club and Bill are interested in speaking to all new and current players to further discuss your and our plans for next season. We would also welcome any former players who have played for Balga SC in the past few seasons and who may have moved on to other clubs in order to pursue Amateur League football.
We see this step as a big opportunity to expand on our continuing development in the State League and provide opportunities for those players who for various reasons cannot play State League football. You are offered the opportunity to join an ambitious community club and enjoy amateur football played in a highly organised and competitive way. Bill and the other amateur coaching staff will be looking to develop a talented squad who will be inspired to play attacking football with a winning mentality.
Balga Soccer Club has a long and rich history as one of the top community club sides in Western Australia and we continue to strive to achieve another excellent year. Balga Soccer Club committee, management and coaching staff are fully committed to supporting all our members in further developing their skills and abilities.
