Natasha is a member of the junior committee of Balga Soccer Club and as such she organises trophies for the end of season presentations, as well as involvement in policy setting for team managers. She is also the team manager of the Under 10’s team in which her two sons Luca (10) and Felipe (9) play. Her daughter Sophia (6) plays in the clusters competition.
When asked why she has chosen that she and her children be part of Balga Soccer Club Natasha says that initially they lived in the area but even after moving away she still wanted her children to be part of the club. This was because of its strong community involvement involving both children and their families, especially amongst the parents and supporters of the individual teams.
Natasha tells me that her two sons were scouted and selected to be members of the Perth Glory Development Centre and do train with that group but it gives her great pleasure to show that a club like Balga can produce top class players and that you don’t have to belong to a top NPL Club like most of the other boys in that squad.
