We’re delighted to announce that we will be strengthening our senior coaching department with the return of Ljupco Bobby Taneski to Balga SC in the role of dual Head Coach. Bobby is well known to the wider WA Football Community as well as Balga SC faithful having lead the club in previous campaigns.

“Having previously worked with Bobby and personally having known him for a long time I know what an excellent acquisition he is for the Club” said Aleks Vrteski, Balga’s Senior Coach. “We’re looking to build on the momentum of the past few seasons and this certainly is a gigantic step in the right direction”.

After handing the reins to Aleks at the back of a successful 2017 season at Balga SC, Bobby spent time coaching within the Perth Glory youth system followed by a stint at Perth SC.

“It’s great to be back and involved at Balga SC. When the opportunity arose to come back, I couldn’t say no. This club is a spiritual football home for me having spent time here both as a player and a coach” said Bobby. “I’ve still been involved with the club over the years and know what a fantastic job Aleks has done in the past few years. I look forward to working with him, the rest of the coaching staff, the committee and all the players to push for promotion”.

Ken Shorto, Balga SC President, said he was delighted to add to the coaching staff “The board and I are over the moon that we’ve been able to add the calibre of coach that Bobby is to our ranks. Aleks and Bobby are well known to each other and having two strong Head Coaches will be a big advantage to the squad. We can see this strong team flowing through all the coaching ranks at the club. We wish Aleks, Bobby and the rest of the coaching staff all the success for the upcoming seasons” said Shorto.
